Mann Elementary School (Interim)
Brooks Warnick is a dedicated, passionate educator with more than 14 years of serving students in MD传媒官方. He possesses a strong record of accomplishment in improving student achievement through data-informed practices, coaching teachers to discover their strengths and build upon them, and designing professional development that highlights diversity and inclusion. Mr. Warnick has a strong commitment to seeking out and honoring student, teacher, and caregiver voices, which he developed over the years as assistant principal, special education coordinator, Response to Intervention (RTI) coordinator, and teacher. Mr. Warnick is a firm believer in celebrating and advocating for fun in learning.
For the last three and a half years Mr. Warnick served as a Special Education Team Lead, teacher, and part-time Assistant Principal at Horace Mann Elementary. Before finding a home at Horace Mann, he spent 11 years as a Special Education Teacher, RTI Coordinator/Coach, and Assistant Principal at Tyler Elementary in Ward 6.
Mr. Warnick believes in education as the pathway to endless possibilities for students. In his education path, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University in Media Studies and a Master of Education from George Washington University.
