In 2013-2014, the and District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) led a comprehensive review process of the city’s student assignment policies, including DCPS school boundaries. The process culminated in a series of recommendations made by the DC Advisory Committee on Student Assignment. In August 2014, the Mayor and Chancellor fully adopted and approved the recommendations.
